Description

Prepare vacant apartments for new occupancy,---- which may include drywall repair, painting walls, cabinets and woodwork,

Plumbing repairs/replacement---- including sinks, faucets, angle stops, water heater, copper pipe welding, clean stopped drain, garbage disposal

Appliance maintenance and repair--- including heating, refrigerators, stoves, hook, install dish washer

Electrical repair--- including replacement of wall switches, plugs, light fixtures and ceiling fans, circle breaker, trouble shooting power outage,

Construction repair---- including cabinet repair or replacement, roofing repair and inspection, and roof gutter clean-out;

Repair or replace windows/screens, screen doors, door handles including re-keying

Performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds

Qualifications

Maintenance Technicians must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service; the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; and a great attention to detail. One or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, and appliances required; experience in painting a plus.

Superior customer service skills; Be able to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and other suppliers or vendors to ensure smooth and safe operation of property maintenance.

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school a plus. Must possess the ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple to moderately complicated verbal and/or written instructions to perform tasks assigned and to maintain records

Valid drivers license, some weekend availability, and rotating on-call responsibility for after hours emergencies required. Maintenance technician need provide his own tools.
